Summer is here! That’s supposed to mean lazy days and laid back schedules, right? Does anyone else feel like they actually have a bit more to do these days? Without the kids’ school schedule dictating mine, I don’t feel as productive or organized. I’m trying to get “my stuff” done while still making time for summer fun.
Synonymous with summer fun? Ice cream. When we break out the ice cream, a sweet treat for me (with a little boost of caffeine) is shaking up a little vanilla ice cream with some International Delight Iced Coffee. The kids make their sundaes, and I make myself a little mocha shake.
So simple! A scoop or two of vanilla ice cream in the blender…
A generous pour of International Delight Iced Coffee in whatever flavor you’d like (I like Mocha)…
And blend!
If you don’t want to have a shake, it’s easy and yummy to make a simple iced coffee in your own home with the ready to pour Iced Coffees. You can freeze leftover coffee in ice cube trays and pour the International Delight Iced Coffee flavor over the ice, shake and enjoy!
International Delight is giving away 100 of these handy Tumblers so that you can easily shake up your iced coffee whenever you want. You can enter daily on their Facebook page through the end of August.
Be on the lookout for a Twitter Party with International Delight (@InDelight) and Coldstone Creamery (@ColdStone) where we’ll be celebrating iced coffee season by talking about favorite flavors, funny coffee shop fails, summer happenings and more! (There will be prizes, of course.) 🙂
How about you? What’s your favorite summer iced coffee treat?
