I love it when I am able to take something headed for the trash and give it a longer life with a little creativity and spray paint. (Seriously, everything is better with spray paint.) In the case of this craft project, I literally used trash to make these faux foil wrapped chocolate eggs for Easter.
I happened to have eaten a lot of foil wrapped chocolates for Valentine’s Day (Don’t judge!)
All of those foil wrappers got me thinking:
- Thank you Dove, for writing “You deserve this chocolate” on the inside of the wrapper (because I totally did); and,
- Besides throwing them away to hide the evidence, what could I do with all of these neat little squares of foil? (They were neat little squares because I needed to smooth them out so I could read the chocolate-eating-justification messages Dove was sending me.)
I was really happy with how the project turned out. (And it turned out to be a great way to hide all those wrappers…)
