Today I’m going to share my friend Kirsten’s recipe for appetizer crack Buffalo Chicken Dip. This stuff is amazing and highly addictive. You have been warned.
The first time I heard about Kirsten’s Buffalo Chicken Dip was when she brought it to a BBQ we were attending. The host was almost giddy with anticipation: “Kirsten’s coming, and she’s bringing THE DIP!!” When she arrived with THE DIP, the host took it, set it on the table, and people fell on it like wolves. Kirsten saw what was happening and had to stop everyone… “Wait! It needs to go in the oven first!”
It was delicious. Even before it was ready.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 2 large chicken breasts, boiled and shredded
- 1 cup Frank’s Red Hot Wing Sauce
- 12 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup Bob’s Bleu Cheese dressing
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
By the way, Kirsten brought this to our Halloween party last week and she won the prize for Best Dish.
They also had the most votes for Best Costume, but we gave the prize to the runner up! (We aren’t set up to handle a sweep of the categories…) :)
At any rate, I have yet to see anyone taste this spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip and not immediately want more. Yum! Enjoy!
