The first thing to do is to see how the branch "fits" on the table. I had to break a few smaller branches off and shorten it a bit.
Next, grab your glue gun and some sheet moss. Place a few dabs of glue here and there along the branch, adding clumps of moss as you go. Add thicker pieces to the main branch and smaller pieces on the thinner branches.
Here's where you'll get a few buds on your branches. (Don't ask me what kind of a tree this is. I'm making it up as I go along.)
Grab a couple of coffee filters and tear off little pieces. Scrunch them up in a wad and twist/pinch the bottom part with your fingers. Put a tiny dab of hot glue at the end of the thin branches and carefully set the "bud" in the hot glue.
That's it. All done.
Put it on your table and add in a few other items to fill it out if you want. I added in little votive cups full of Dusty Miller from my front yard and scattered a few plastic eggs here and there.
Pretty easy.
Do you have plans for Easter?
