Happy Friday! I am waking up in the rainy and gorgeous Portland, Oregon area today! While I’m off visiting friends, I wanted to share a Quickie-Make-Over with you.
I hope it isn’t blasphemous to refer to any nativity as a crappy nativity, but that’s kind of what this one from the Dollar Store started out as…
The only way to save this little set is to spray paint it.
Prime the figurines, then paint with an Heirloom White. I like to add several layers of clear gloss too. It makes it look more like ceramic.
So yes, yes, I know this is a no-brainer of a little Christmas craft. (Can’t even properly call this a tutorial.) However, I am over at Tatertots & Jello today, sharing a Christmas Craft FAIL that I was able to turn around and make into something pretty. Please stop by!

I think the blasphemy is that the original pieces were ever created. Thanks for saving them.
Rebecca @ My Girlish Whims says
haha! I have these! I don’t think they’re so bad, probably because it’s my first christmas on my own and i needed a nativity and they were cheap 🙂

They look great! And hey, did you notice the sun peek out a little this morning? 🙂 Also, if you have any free time while you’re up here, and speaking of nativities..
