The V Spot

Rants, observations and home decorating from a woman with no time for a blog.

The Halloween Mantel. For now.

My mantel is soooo hard to decorate.  It’s an asymmetrical wooden nightmare.
I am still not happy with this, but it’ll do.

I will probably continue to tweak it.

I do like the sparkle of the mercury glass and silver, and I like the little ravens.  I’m still very enamored of the Raven artwork I did last year.  (Is it just me, or is there something mildly disturbing about an hourglass with black grains of sand?)

Anyhow, I am gearing up for the SoCal Social, which is tomorrow.  You can follow along on Instagram and Twitter with #socalsocial

Happy Friday!

You are going to have to either move or demolish that wall when HH isn't looking. LOL

I so envy your decorating sense. I fantasize about seasonal decorating, but have yet to pull it off.

Love that raven!

I am SO loving black and white with a touch of the mercury glass right now! And you perfected it! And you may have officially made me want to decorate for Halloween.... I somehow skipped Halloween this year and went for fall that could work for the whole season...shoot! :o) Anyways, thanks for the inspiration!
