My mom is my best friend. She puts herself out to help me in times of need. Love that mom of mine!

My mom is a rock. She just keeps going despite dad'd cancer, her own health problems, or wrangling her class of first graders. She is such a wonderful example to me of never giving up.

What a lovely and timely giveaway!

My own mom died in 1999, so if I won this I'd have the flowers sent to my mother-in-law. My favorite thing about her? Hmmm. She's smart, quick-witted, talented, and very kind. But my favorite thing has to be that she brought my husband into this world! :)

My mom can handle anything! Right now she has lost her home due to an issue with black mold (something alot of folks on the gulf coast have to deal with since Hurricane Katrina)and is having to live with friends. But she's still cheerful and confident that God will provide.

I'm inspired by my mom's level of discipline. She learns new skills all the time, and it all starts with working on whatever-it-is for 15 minutes a day, every day. For years. Haha!

What I love about my mom is how much she still loves each of her kids. Plus, whenever we talk on the phone (we don't live close) she lets me gab on as long as I want :)

My Mom is strong! She chopped more than a ton (literally, more than 2,000 pounds) of firewood herself last winter. All that in a 5'5" frame! Her sense of humor is fantastic too. :)

I love that my mom can sew, show her a picture and she can make it. My wedding dress came from 4 different pictures and was beautiful.

My mom is such an amazing woman. She took a lost, underloved 23 year old (me) "adopted" me, gave me the family name, 12 brothers and sisters and showed me the true meaning of unconditional love. She has loved me thru good times and bad, been my rock and my sounding board but most of all my best friend. I'm 59 now and my appreciation for her grows stronger evry year.

My mom pours her heart and soul into everything important to her. This may drive you crazy at times, but the crazy just means she cherishes you more than anything.

My mom, to me, is the epitome of unconditional love...not only to her children, but to all her friends and family. Happy Mother's Day to all of you MOMMAS out there :)

My Mom is my best friend. She taught me by example and thru our talks how to be an excellent wife and I can tell her the worst about me or my family and she always has prayer and hope and encouragement for me. She is a very unselfish person and I only get to see her once a year.

I love that my mom is so steadfast - she's rather unflappable in any situation.

My mom is the strongest person I know. She's my best friend and in the hardest times of my life I've always known that I would be okay because I could draw from her strength. Now that I have a daughter of my own I finally understand her love and everyday I pray I can be as good a mother to my daughter as she's been to me.

One of the many things I love about my mom is her resourcefulness, which is a trait she handed down to me! Yay!
