We Want To Know Wednesdays #2

Photobucket

The ladies behind Seriously Shawn, Dandelion Wishes, Confessions of an Impulsive Addict and The Johanson Journey   have started a series of weekly questions to answer.  I appreciate that it is on Wednesday... the day I am most likely to be up to my eyeballs in laundry and have forgotten to make dinner.

This week's questions:

1.} What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Are you an eyes or a smile person? Maybe another body part?
I think mainly it's their smile.  Handsome Hubby has a great natural smile. I also love, love, LOVE his laugh.  Just thinking about it makes me smile.  On a day where I've heard him genuinely have a big belly laugh is a great day for me.

2.} If a movie was being made about you who would you like to see cast to play you? And would your movie be a comedy, drama, romantic-comedy, action film or a horror movie?
This is a tricky one.  I have gotten comparisons to Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts, but I think it is because we all have big  hair.   I think personality wise, the best person to play me would be Kathy Bates or Annette Benning.  And of course the movie would be a swashbuckling action flick.  (Or maybe a dramatic, romantic-comedy.)

3.} Does your senior yearbook include a senior comment section? If so share what you said about your future goals. Have you met those goals? If you do not have a yearbook just share an old picture and let us know what your goals where when you were 18 and if you have met them. If you're brave enough, include your senior picture!
My yearbook did have a comment section, but I used my comments to give shout outs to my girlfriends.

This was my senior picture.  (You can see why I opted for a nose-job, yes?  My boobs are real, so shut up, shut up, shut up.) I had planned to go to San Diego State as a journalism major... but I took a very circuitous college route and wound up years later at Washington State with a public administration degree... I did speech writing and worked on policy development, so I guess that counts as journalism.   I like the writing I get to do for The V Spot and for My Favorite Hate Mail much better than writing political speeches.

4.} What latest trend simply baffles you?
Skinny jeans.  But also, any pants or jeans on guys, that are pulled up to just below their butts.  They can't walk.  They look like damn penguins walking down the street!  What the heck?!
(Want a really good laugh?  Watch one of these dorks try to run. hahahha!)

5.} When you walk into a room how do you present yourself? Do you walk in with confidence and command the attention of others or do you slink in and do your best to go unnoticed?
I haven't had to slink in anywhere since high school days when I had a curfew.  I walk into a room with confidence, but I don't know that I "command" attention.  (I'm confident enough that I don't need extra attention.)

Anyhow, go link up and meet some new bloggers.  Posts are always easier with a little writing prompt.

Thanks for the questions ladies!

I love a good smile and strong hands :) The skinny jeans on men drive me crazy, especially when they sag them...not cute at all! I think Julia is adorable and should be honored to play you in your action film.

Love this! And I hate when guys wear their pants like that. I want to just walk up to them and pull them up.

Too funny.. I hate seeing someone's butt! who in their right mind would think that looks good? But it did make me laugh.

I agree with #1. Love hearing my hubby laugh!!

I don't understand the saggy pants or skinny jeans either. How is either one comfortable to a guy? Why would you want your booty hanging out for the world to see your undies?! HAHA!

Oh, the guys with droopy drawers irritate the ever lovin' crap outta me.
And, you know what? I majored in journalism too! Weird.

A smile from one of my girls or my hubby just melt me, especially if it's just an "I love you" smile!

Your movie would so be an action comedy, you are after all raising four boys!

You actually remind me of a friend I went to high school with. I notice the hair more than the nose...much better long!

Why wear pants at all? I'm just sayin'.

I knew that about you before reading it, you are a very confident woman!

Amen! What on earth is the deal with pants below the behind? Doesn't it sort of defeat the purpose of wearing pants...lol

I am officially not talking to you for a while. My boobs are real too, and they resemble two deflated water balloons in a downhill race. Thank goodness for Victoria's Secret 5" thick padded bras, and an awesome husband who likes other body parts better. Oh yeah, I forgot, I totally suck in the hair department too. If I was bored enough, I could count the strands on my head. Another good thing about technology, the hair products are amazing for follically challenged ladies such as myself.....Good thing I have a sense of humor. And, I am humble to boot. Thanks for the laugh. As always!

A good belly laugh from M or Emma melts my heart!

Sandra and Julia are my girls! I can totally see the resemblance. Kathy Bates? Really? Oh no.

Ok..let's talk about that senior pic. I LOOOOOVE it! It makes me LAUGH OUT LOUD! The hair, the make-up, the NOSE,the EVERYTHING! It's greatness! And nothing was wrong with your nose. There was no need to go through all that pain!

Saggy pants NEED TO GO! I hate them too! It's just so tacky!

Thanks for playing! I love you even more! =)

The first time I saw him I liked everything about him. But I am really into strong clean hands.

Oh yes....I great laugh is very sexy!

I didn't know about your nose job. It looks good!

I didn't know there were skinny jeans for men. I do know that I learned way too much about underwear for gay men last night.

Clever bunny. I have collected a bunch of dollar store containers to tidy up with but I haven't got around to doing it. Then I saved a bunch of plastic containers from take out food and cleaned them up but haven't got around to using them. ...you get the picture? Now I need a big container to store the smaller containers I have collected to clean up.

The laugh, oh my gosh you are so right! There is something so great about a genuine laugh!

I'd say Julia Roberts FOR SURE!!!

I totally can't get past the hair, I hadn't ever imagined you having short hair. How come you look even more gorgeous now then back then, that isn't fair. All of us other peeps look back & have the ahhh I wishes, but you, your HOTTER now. Damn you!!!

Pants under the butt... STUPIDEST THING EVER!!!

First - I agree with IA - nothing wrong with your nose!

Um, Loooove Sandra. Julia - GAG.

You're more Sandra for sure.

I also love a great smile. And it kills me when my husband gets to laughing...it makes me laugh, and then we can't stop!
